Battlelog in Battlefield 4

Frostbite, Levolution, Commander Mode, and All Out War aren’t the only things that make Battlefield 4 the first truly next-gen experience. Battlelog is evolving on the web, mobile devices, and connecting Battlefield players in entirely new ways.

With Battlefield, 4 your mobile device and tablet become a window into your game. Get a tactical view of the battlefield, highlight attack points on the mini map, and track your squad mates, all from your device or computer. The improved Battlelog will also allow you to more fluidly control your play sessions. Change your weapons and load outs in real time or select your next match and server without leaving your game. Want to check on your progression while you’re playing? You don’t have to pause or leave – just reach for your mobile.

We’re also evolving the way that you compare and compete. Want to know who among your friends is the best tank destroyer or who can capture the most bases? With the new Missions feature you’ll be able to create custom challenges for your friends. A completed mission or improvement on a current record will notify your friends, letting them know it’s time to log on and try to take back their title!

Geo-localized leaderboards will allow players to focus on the area that means the most to them. Compare statistics on the city, country, continental, and global levels. Make new friends and rivals with people near and far as you compete on the scale that you choose.

These improvements are just part of how we’re making Battlefield 4 the best Battlefield ever. Pre-order Battlefield 4 today!

….SO I assume the image still above is just a leader board map of your friends. For awhile now I was so excited that it was a in game level of Brooklyn. Ive been telling my friends of this Brooklyn map that no one has noticed, but after relooking I guess its just a leader board. DICE really though, that would be a perfect battle ground above. Theres big enough buildings in that spot of Brooklyn, the BQE highway cuts right through it, two bridges to play on,the east river. Then a beautiful back ground of Manhattan. ( though that would be a b*tch to render that city in the back ground to look good in air vehicles.

commander mode is stupid, on a nice killstreak, or taking some objectives while pushing the enemy back, and bam, tamahawk or ac 130 takes out our team, stupid

What I don’t get is why you have to play commander mode on an iPad. That doesn’t make any sense to me. 2142 had in game commanders and it worked out perfectly. I think all this next gen mobile device stuff is taking away from the core mechanics of the game. Which is squad based integrated play. BF3 could barely get assigning attack commands and now we’re expected to belive DICE has somehow figure out all the kinks. I’m very displeased that you have to buy an iPad to be a commander and y’all need to fix this ASAP!

I was under the impression that it was accessible from Battlelog in general, or at the very least wasn’t limited to just the iPad.

  • gamingcentral46 08.13.13 at 21:39

Sorry about that but is for the iphone of all touch screen devices?

  • gamingcentral46 08.13.13 at 21:38

I had one quick question does the battlelog only for they iphone/pod or for all touch screen devices?

Hello Thanks for the game started.
i want to know what penalties will be applied to the fraudsters? in the new BATTLEFIELD4 (if from them radically initially not set the program), what additional, new programs will be used to detect fraud? generally how it will happen? – Specific scheme (pattern) of action. Or is the default on the old (as in BF3)? namely open action in the game and in the forum of frank scam with the funny overtones, “but so what? something to fear? it will always”
Q: The changes will be? if so, which ones? – specifically.

    Thank you.

    Best regards.
    Alex.

    Nice concepts!

Oh. Seems like a lot of people in here are forgetting this is *just* a game. All the whining is becoming tiresome….

  • Ru1Sous4 07.26.13 at 13:01

Lets just hope that this all new things in “Battlelog” that sound amazing don’t go out 6 months of the game come out as we see before in BF3…

  • ArgosAvalance 07.26.13 at 11:22

Will the game have support for 2 monitors systems?

  • M8NTIS 07.26.13 at 01:21

My clan has been doing the “Missions” thing for years. Check out our Weapons Challenge module http://www.armyofanyoneclan.com/weaponschallenge

Please change the battlelog app so that I can remove a soldier I Have never played, I played 1 game of mass effect 3 with another account and now it is permanently listed as my default soldier for BF3 even though it has never even loaded BF3

  • DarkSlayer3109 07.25.13 at 19:32

DICE Please make if for windows phone, or smart glass. us Microsoft’s need to stick together…

  • shpawen 07.25.13 at 19:31

Please, fix it for B3… Stats between Battlelog and the Game so differs, that i have a different ranks now…

  • Graslama 07.25.13 at 19:16

It should also be possible for a player to not take part in public statistics. so no other player can see the stats. i hate these stat running. think about the ppl who dont like statistics!

  • XxL3GITxN1NJA 07.25.13 at 19:03

Yes it’ll be on android. they have a Battlelog app on android right now.. it’s just not as polished as it should be.

  • namvn 07.25.13 at 19:00

    gj DICE! how about Android?

  • L_A_N_C_E_7 07.25.13 at 18:52

So what you’re saying is, if this game doesn’t provide the app needed on your phone (which is really just an extra feature), you’re not going to attempt to enjoy the other features the game has to offer? I’m definitely not letting this effect my decision on whether or not to buy it.

  • JEZLOL 07.25.13 at 18:51

PLEASE support SMARTGLASS / Windows Phone and Windows RT, not every gamer has or wants iOS/Android, especially Xbox gamers.

  • MrLazyland 07.25.13 at 18:51

Is this gonna be avaiable for all mobile platforms?

  • XxL3GITxN1NJA 07.25.13 at 18:50

You know it takes time to develop apps like these.. they are just revealing the features they can’t show it on all the platforms it will be released on you’re getting angry for no reason truly. A Battlelog app will be released for all platforms more than likely DICE go on their word and usually don’t give out empty promises

  • RandomAlec 07.25.13 at 18:16

All I see is a lot of talk, and nothing being done about having a Battlelog application available on ALL platforms. You’ve all been talking about the next Battlelog being available on (plural terms) phones and tablets. All I see is it being shown off on an iPhone and iPad.

If a proper (and equal in features) Battlelog app does not release on both the Windows Store and Windows Phone Store, I will NEVER play this game. Not to mention Android’s version, which needs updating. Get it done or you will have a lot of disappointed players looking for Battlelog on their devices, as you keep promising, and never finding it.

    • L1felessOne 07.25.13 at 18:47

how bout step into 2013 and get a real phone… wahhhh

      • RandomAlec 07.25.13 at 18:48

Kill yourself if you really think the iPhone is a real phone.

        LAWL

    • o Gummy o 07.25.13 at 20:02

Why don’t you just use battlelog through the website, the app isn’t even that good.
